   1. History of the CasaRom Group of Companies in Romania  
  The founders of the CasaRom Group of Companies have extensive experience in the planning, development and financing of residential projects through independent companies which have operated in the USA, Arabian Peninsula, North Africa and the Philippines. To date the founders have been involved in the completion and sale of over 7,000 units.

In 1998, the company founders came to Romania in order to review the possibility of investing in the hotel business. During this period they travelled extensively throughout the country and became aware of the enormous need for housing existing in Romania.

After preliminary research they found the area best suited for commencing housing development would be Transylvania as it reported the highest income per capita for its residents. Preliminary inquiries were made to numerous Municipalities through the region for the availability of completed lands that could be concessioned or purchased for a housing program.

The Municipality of Cluj-Napoca responded favourably to this housing initiative. CasaRom Cluj was formed in 1999 and the CasaRom Cluj projects then ensued.

  
 

In the winter of 2000, CasaRom entered discussions with the Municipality of Arad for a large-scale housing development project for Arad.Casarom was established in 2001 in order to develop the Subcetate Residential Park.

Subsequent meetings with other municipalities have established similar development opportunities in other cities, which are being pursued.
